You guys are too much. I'm no expert, just an amature analyst, but I know my markets. I first noticed Sigma in 1989. It went from $10 to $20 while I watched. I never bought, and Sigma has had a lot of problems since. This is a history that Sigma will suffer from. As they start making money, they won't get a very high PE because the money will wonder if they can do it year over year.

That said, I work the numbers for Sigma this Q. Panasonic would take thousands of boards just to get them on the shelf. Still have 7 no-name PC OEMs that use the board for up-grades. Sony needs some, Philips needed 10K. Sigma might have done 50K DVD boards. Even at $40, thats $4M worth of DVD.(They should be getting over $55 per board today, could be higher)

Sales:

Networking $3.6M(up from 3.4M last Q)
MPEG Chipsets 4.8M(flat)
Vid/Conf. .1M(flat)
Other .2M(flat)
DVD 4.0M(up from 1.9M last Q)

Total $12.7M(up from 10.4M last Q)

Earnings:

Revenue $12.7M

COG 9.3M(27% gross margins, up from 26%
last Q)

Gross $3.4M

R&D/SGA 3.1M

before taxes $.3M

Taxes $.05M

Net $.25M(12M shares)

EPS $.02

The above comments are just one observer's opinion. I no way are they to represent all factors involved in the markets, relationships, inventories, or competitive position of the company. Don't try this at home.:-)
