Since the private equity holdings are extremely important to an investor's assessment of the company, why don't we use the power of our collective input and keep a list on the thread. I know many probably have lists of their own.

Below is a stab at the private equity portfolio.
Most of the private equity investments listed below are mentioned in the 1999 annual report.
This year, SiTera was acquired by VTSS and iCompression was acquired by GSPN. EXTN, SABA and NUFO have complete IPOs.

The total amount invested in private equity is probably $150 to $225 million, though this is just an estimate. There could quite possibly be a few more not on this list.

Accesslan Communications, Inc.
Alacritech, Inc.
Ceon Corporation
I-Cube, Inc.
Knowledgenet
Mahi Network
Mainstreet Networks, Inc.
Mayan Networks, Inc.
On-Link Technologies, Inc.
RedCreek Communications, Inc.
Quorom Communications
Shomiti Systems, Inc.
Silicon Spice, Inc.
VINA Technologies, Inc.
Westwave Communications

I look for On-Link next, perhaps this quarter. I and others have previously posted on Mayan and Silicon Spice as being potential home runs. Interesting that NUFO was a bit of a sleeper in this group.

Also, I consider it extremely positive news that Trueger did an interview, and made some disclosures. Shows an interest to raise the company's profile. The statement by Trueger that they are looking to do a deal for $200 million dollars or higher was quite interesting.

As always, comments more than welcome.
