It makes alot of sense. Alcatel seems to be a threat to ALL--AMTX,WSTL
and others.
In the recent Lab.testing REPORT, ONLY modem from AMTX and PAIR performed as claimed. Thus all ADSL modem are not equal. Alcatel's
modems are not tested in field trial or independent Labs. I wonder
if Alcatel's modems will meet RBOC'S OR MARKET expectations in real world usage.
