When the Fed is done tightening, if they haven't caused a recession, we have to have a 40% relief rally upmove on the Nasdaq, from wherever the bottom is. I'm betting the Fed keeps tightening for 3-4 more times, but is done later this year. So 2001 should be a great year for growth stocks, and 2000 is the year to buy them. I'm also betting no recession, but who knows. The techs will go down further, and then rebound further as well. That's where the growth is, but that's also where investors are paying the most for future growth.

If the Fed quits tightening at about the same time the antitrust issue is resolved, MSFT will have a stunning rally.

I wonder who gets the MSFT ticker symbol in a breakup? Maybe the NYSE will get to use the "M" symbol they've been saving for just this occasion.
