I don't think you need to fit in. Heck, I don't follow sports, hardly ever drink, and dislike male locker room antics. I don't fit in very well with your average group of male- bonders. I am just noticing that not all of the customs are exclusive, nor a direct violation of conscience, so there is room for enjoyment of the more festive aspects of some of these holidays. (By the way, I often drink egg nog without any rum).
