Emile- I think there is a little misunderstanding of terms here. If you read the last paragraph of my post, I there stated that 'God entered this world of time' Yes, God did become a man- the Creator took on the form of a creature. But is that what God is today? If you got in a space ship and explored the universe from corner to corner, would you find the throne of God? I experience Jesus Christ today. However, when I lean on His breast today, it is in a different manner than John did during His ministry. Though no less intimate.
Forgive me for being vague on the other count. By Science, I did not mean the scientific method of hypothesis and test. I meant the more colloquial sense of the term. By looking farther into the universe, by looking deeper into the atom, by learning more and more of the laws that govern the universe, discovering the mechanics of what make the universe run, those activities will not prove or disprove God.
Yes, I believe that Christianity is rational. I believe that God will show Himself to the true open mind.
