My short term exit points are primarily based on a preset percentage gain (normally 5-10%). Do you normally allow the same 5-10% for setting stop loss protection? How long have you followed such a strategy and what are your results so far, (i.e. % of profitable trades) Do you ever attempt catch both sides of the swing, i.e., instead of merely covering, double covering so that you are then net long?
