Thanks for the URL. The BA/Nynex RBOC's are behind CAP.... this DMT/CAP issue should become clearer if/when that MOT single chip comes out. Globalspans' second generation chip will be out in the 4Q. This is the 7Mbps down / 1Mbps up. The first generation chip isn't even worth testing side-by-side with AMTX DMT. "tele.com lab tests"

My point here is both MOT DMT and Globalspans second generation CAP chips will be out within 2-3 months of each other. I'am starting to think CAP is in BIG trouble. I'am finding it very difficult to believe any of Globalspans news releases and promises of future CAP events. Their news releases are becoming vague with respect to "distance" and "baud rate". I can't find those two KEY points in the same sentence in any of Globalspans' recent news releases. If BA/NYNEX is happy with 1.5 down and 64kbps up then CAP will work for them.
