Holder's statement is a shock to no one; they've been playing it down ever since Obama stupidly said he would shut Gitmo down.

HOWEVER. What they are NOT saying is that Gitmo was the perfect facility for these people. What Holder's statement is saying is that the third group can't be prosecuted (else, they would be in the second group) and that they can't be sent to other countries (else, the first group).

So, the bottom line is that the most Obama can do is to move these creeps from Gitmo to some place else (presumably, Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan).

So, WTF is different? Bush just chose to have them nearby. That's all.

Wonder if the Left gets this?
