Anyway,as ATHM goes,so goes HLIT,Soundview just upgraded HLIT to a strong buy. There is no one that can build cable MetroDWDM like HLIT. They just built CMCSK in the Tampa area,they now have Paul Allen and Charter as a customer,and also RCNC,COX,and TWX. If you believe in MetroDWDM for cable, HLIT is the leader,and will dominate installations in the range of 75%. If you want any information on this great little company,ask me,I will get it.

Their HomeFree wireless is good, not great,Proxim's is number one. But with more bandwidth the product works well,wireless home LAN connections will be big with broadband access. And lastly, MP3,and the RIAA,Tom Petty just released his latest single in MP3,you have Platinum Entertainment,Rykodisc,all the Indy's,and the masses. Its like TCP/IP it will be the defacto standard before the RIAA ever comes back with their standard. The RIO is an excellent product,and maybe will not effect the bottom line very much,but will give DIMD greater visibility. And then their basic lines of sound boards which are winning high acclaims.
