For what it's worth...I paid $79 for Tiger ($50 rebate from Microcenter). That particular rebate was time limited, but I am sure there are similar deals to be found. And I fail to see any utility in using Disk Warrior.

So I don't understand this need to pay $200-228 for this upgrade. Everything is working fine for me. Tiger is required for many of the newest apps (e.g., Final Cut Studio).

But, I suppose if you look hard enough, you can find a reason not to buy.
