Emile, would you work with me a little on this concept: " The fact that Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father in his resurrected human body overwhelms the heart. It is an indication of God's love for mankind."
Using your idea and the following verses there SEEMS to be two different meanings.
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this SAME Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.(KJV). Caps mine
(1 John 3:2 KJV) "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM; for we shall see him as he is."
I do believe we will be like Jesus. My dilemma is this. If the SAME Jesus is coming back, and we are going to be like Him, then why do we not know what we shall be? IMO, we have been recreated in Christ Jesus and two have become one by the new birth, that is man(one) received The Holy spirit(one, His seed) and we became a new creation of God the Father, His child. Do I understand this? No, but I know the Holy Spirit was given to me.
Since Jesus is going to be God/man throughout eternity, will we also be God/man like our Lord? If not, how would we fellowship with Him?
God bless,
