OBV is a simple calculation: volume on up days is added to, and volume on down days subtracted from, a running total volume count. Thus this divergence would indicate more volume on up days and less on down days.

I like to put trendlines on OBV and play breakouts in either direction if not yet confirmed by price...and/or I like the price pattern forming.
