I think that there is great potential for it being a positive for the world from a socio-economic perspective. I think that the real influence on the oil prices is how it affects the Saudis. However, I don't expect this to happen right away and I don't think it will happen without a great deal of resistance from the opec members. But, if the investment dollars are drying up, it ain't gonna mean much. Further, the question has to be asked "can cheaper oil offset the other negative influences on the economy.

And then finally, let's see a raise of hands...How many people think that S.H. lives through the end of the year? mmmhmmmm nobody. What are the chances that the news is already priced into the market?
