Erin Ventures to acquire VMS project Erin Ventures Inc EV Shares issued 18,286,783 2000-02-25 close $0.4 Monday Feb 28 2000 Mr. Tim Daniels reports The company has entered into an agreement to option a 32-unit claim group thought to have the potential to host a significant high-grade VMS deposit. The property is located near the eastern margin of the central Quesnel volcanic belt commonly referred to as the Quesnel Trough. This belt is composedd of mafic to andesitic volcanic rocks and volcanic-related sediments, thick sections of argillites, and substantial zones of basal black phyllite along the eastern margin. Numerous syenitic stocks and plugs intrude these trough rocks, the most noteworthy being the Bootjack Lake stock, which hosts the Mt. Polley Cu-Au mine approximately 27 kilometres to the north. The corporation is currently completing perimeter staking to ensure that the property package completely covers the area of favourable geology.
