You don't know what you're talking about. You WISH this was a blow to SYMC. Please explain how this is so. Assuming Laing has resigned, why would this necessarily be a blow to the company? Do you know how long Laing has been the VP of the desktop utilities branch of the Norton group? Do you know who would replace him?

You've made an inane assertion which has no basis in fact. You write as if you have some intimate knowledge of the subject matter, yet you have no clue.

I want to be up front that I am a SW engineer w/ SYMC. However, I'm not a company spokesman/PR person. These opinions (that your points are not based on fact) are my own.
