i just saw a snip of obama's latest interview with george stephanopoulos in which george asked him what he thought about the monthly fees bank of america and citi were charging for debit cards. instead of saying competition for customers would settle the issue, obama sort of smoothly yet indignantly said some think they are entitled to a certain profit level no matter what. it reminded me how a frustrated communist or marxist oriented mind would say without an army, police force, or constitution to enforce his wishes. in other words the banks found a way around the durbin regulation using price/fees, and that pisses obama off. obama should just leave it up to customers to fix the issue if it is a major problem. there are plenty of places for customers to move their money and have "free" debit cards.
