the durbin amendment shifted the cost of using the debit cards from the retailer onto the consooooooomer.... the answer is simple....don't like the fee? quit using a debit card... i've never used one in my life due to hacking concerns....i use a credit card that has rewards and pay the balance in full... how hard can it be to deduct your weekly or monthly 'cash' needs from your bank deposit when you are paid?
