Hi Tito, at the very end of last nights Conference Call, Jim Morgan said (this isn't an exact quote) Some people are looking for Core technology holdings, he thought he'd just note that Cisco's Market Cap is $42 Billion, Intel's Market Cap is $137.1 Billion and Microsoft's Market Cap is ______ (i didn't catch this one), and Applied Materials Market Cap is $11 Billion and they can't go anywhere without us.
I just checked CSCO's Profile, which shows their PSR to be 7.2....if you plug that same number in for AMAT you get a Market Cap of $28.08 Billion, which is more than double the $11.2 Billion Market cap showing up for AMAT from yesterday's closing price of $60.00.
BTW, why would Intel (with all their Major Bucks for R&D) want to "steal" DEC's technology? Sounds fishy..... One other tidbit, MUEI is a small fish fighting with the Big Dogs, so we shouldn't be surprised they are encountering some problems....
Regards,
Teri
