I don't see this reorganization as Irwin's retirement. Not in the least. True, he will give up the CEO position in favor of his son. But, guess what, he is still Paul's boss in addition to fatherly guidance counselor. Too bad about losing Thornley though. All in all, an orderly transition and bound to happen sooner than later. Better that it is a planned transition than a required transition. As in Boeing's case.
