Once again, thanks to both of you for the informative take on BEA's business.
Understand that this isn't directed at you, but we're all feeling the need to be very conservative about the companies in which we invest. This often implies candid and blunt criticism and questioning. We all strive to do this politely, and mostly, we succeed.
Consider, e.g. BVSN (because rambus hits too close to home...). About a year ago, several very enthusiastic, respected posters on some online boards were very bullish on BVSN. I never really followed or much understood this company, but people seemed to think of BVSN about what people think of BEAS. Fortunately, I never invested (my investments fared just as poorly, though). The point is, these games are very, very hard to follow, and it pays to be skeptical. |
