I think the case is quite funny: A click-wrap license agreement may be something U.S. citizens have to care about, but anyone over here can open the file, read it, and does not have to comply with the license agreement. Maybe the posts to Slashdot were from somebody in Europe? Then Microsoft cannot claim that the information comes from a person that is not allowed to post that information...
