Marketing is key! We see it over and over again, the tech co. with the best marketing, not the best products wins. MSFT is the most irritating. SGI makes the most scalable servers around, well suited for ISP's but while AOL has more than doubled after adding sgi boxes, sgi has been slumping. Their boxes often don't even get on the buyer's short lists due to lousy marketing (IMHO).Betamax, Apple, The Mazda rotary engine,Syquest....sigh (don't blast me, I'm long SYQT :^)
