Hi Rick , as a general rule I will not buy any stock that has a large gap down in price on heavy volume.. you just never know when there might be another shoe to drop. AFFX is in a downtrend in all time frames and has even broken the low set back in 2001. Might be some value here, but there are better opportunities elsewhere IMO.
