still havent answered the question yet about how you know about 3X and how you know it was worthwhile The specifics of the incidents have been given under which Khalid Sheik Mohammed, Abu Zubaydah and Abd al-Rahim Nashiri were waterboarded in November, 2005. Subsequent to Hayden's remarks facts have leaked out as to the fact that it saved American lives. I have no reason to challenge the truth of these remarks. There were of course witnesses to the waterboarding, so we know these are facts. As to how many lives were saved from the information gained, that is obviously still classified so we have no way of knowing, other than that intelligence committee personnel apparently have backed it up.
