Gerald- I don't know when earnings are coming and I not sure why they would sell-off the Old Chicago chain. The think margins are better at Old Chicago than at RB. In terms of a recession (and I might get a little reaction on this since my research is far from thorough) but I think that the clientele at OC and RB is somewhat recession proof.
I've only been to RBs and OCs in Mpls. and Chicago but I have made a few observations.
1. It's not a "family" restaurant. It's primarily singles and couples, recessions hit families with kids the most. Kids are expensive. I'm damn sure about that.
2. Recessions don't prevent people from having a few drinks and apps. after work.
3. These places are not expensive, It's not a "big" night out as far as the cost. You get a lot for your money.
4. I can see the clientele putting off a trip to Vail or buying a new car or buying a new computer - and then go out to a reasonable dinner with some friends to talk about the recession.

These are just observations. I'm holding RB for the long term.
Restaurants have not been in great favor and don't get a lot of press.
I'm hoping they will.
