<Would you like your hospitals run by people who have no clue of medicine?>

Excuse me for the digression, but they already are. They're called HMOs. It's the bottom line, man. Just like we're force-fed inferior Microsoft products, Dilbert managers put together health benefits packages that couldn't treat a hangnail -- then tell us we're covered.

When government finally tried to tackle the problem, the insurance companies saturated the Washington airwaves with actors claiming they liked their health plans just fine. Add a pinch of Hillary bashing and Congress ran from health care reform like it was the plague.

I'm a MacIdiot who has been tilting at the Microsoft windmill for 11 years. Now Jobs seems intent at taking Apple back to the garage from wence it came. Its a damn shame. Too many marketing mistakes. Apple knew their product was so superior. They believed no one would buy PCs with Microsoft OS just to save a few bucks. Not.

Oh well. My last hope is that Gates picks up the Macintosh pieces, doesn't mess with it too much, and re-releases it as Windows 2000.
