Well la=dee=dah. It has taken almost a century for the white european population of America to admit to the atrocities heaped upon the Native Americans as a result of the europeans demand for land that did not belong to them.

Are you fed up about the concessions given the African Americans or the Hispanics? What about cinco de Mayo celebrations? Since cultural traditions other than those practiced by whatever culture you are make you fed up, maybe you should read up on the history of the westward expansion.Many books have been written and,most of them by white Europeans.

I don't condone the wholesale slaughter of whales, like that of the Europeans from Martha's vinyard or the Japanese. Only one whale was taken to preserve tradition. I doubt there will be another because,as I have been told,it tastes awful.

All I ask of anyone is a modicum of tolerance,an open mind and, lack of self-centeredness on the cultural aspects of life.
