Though I did guess that it would come back to this level within a few days the fact that better companies are exhibiting serious weakness makes me wonder what is actually keeping ODSI up. 7 or 8 would not have surprised me at all under the current environment. So I have not bought back in to this issue (In at 12 on 12/31/96 and got out in late January). Last week I did buy SHVA (8 7/8) NWK (12 1/2) and XYLN (15 1/2). NWK and XYLN are the positions I am most comfortable with. SHVA is a trade. I know many have been disappointed with ODSI's performance and that loss of interest can hurt. Supposedly, their backlog only rolled another quarter. If that is true then it will probably hold here. But backlog is perishable and if it doesnt stick now I believe you could see 7 bucks here.
