Chill out Chief! It is no "assumption", John has resigned. You have no idea what I know and don't know. He has been head of the Norton division for about a year and before that he was the SVP of worldwide sales. I have met him on a number of occasions and I know people who know him VERY well. I considered John to be one of the few members of the mgmt team at SYMC that were worth anything. Gordon Eubanks is clearly clueless and, IMHO Symantec has lost a key player.
