I don't know why everyone is concentrating on the Super Bowl ads. They are expensive, but only make up a couple of percentage points of the 100 million in increased advertising expenditures planned for the whole year, in print and television.

BTW, anyone in the ad business will tell you that Super Bowl ads generate big responses. Even so, Iomega is certainly not banking on just this one day.

I do agree that failure to get the new products out is the big thing hurting Iomega right now, and it points to internal problems. The question now is whether they can fix those problems.
