Susan, Thank you for the great LOL. I shall write the editor and person at Smart Money who wrote such a great TRUE story. Hell he got through to Maria!! I've got through to Larry King twice but never Maria. I'm crushed.
I'm really impressed and I do remember his call. The Smart Money writer is cool, he must of been having such a LOL it is not funny.
Some observations to help the writer out. When he wonders if Maria changed her dress. No. I don't want this to sound the wrong way but Maria is like that woman that Jerry Seinfeld was dating. She looked killer one second and the next, well, Jerry wanted to run. Funny stuff but true life.
Here is some information for Maria's producers. The lighting upstairs at the NYSE and Maria's makeup in the morning... well....you people need to look at that. Maria often looks her best in the afternoon.
For a long time I thought it was the "Ted David effect" on her. Ted makes you laugh or smile often, so I thought maybe being on the air with Ted made Maria look better. Then I noticed her makeup and the lights. Nothing like the makeup or lighting at the NYSE.
This lighting has been clinically proven to be the problem by using Bob Pasani in an experiment. We all know what Bob looks like in real life but have you seen him when he reports from upstairs at the NYSE?http://www.losman.com/images/hannibal.jpg
And I must say, CNBC is doing a much better job of not talking about AOL non-stop. Perhaps they figured out that AOL/TimeWarner really is AOL/CNNfn.
Anyway Susan, thanks for such a great LOL. That is a true classic.
