I see a low float, thinly traded issue that has a low PE, is profitable, and has a very high earnings growth. It specializes in defense communications, which might do well in general with Bush in office. I only watched it go up and up, but fearing to step in, as the surest guarantee that sector is about to roll over is when I buy. But I got tired of waiting for pullbacks and bought a week ago at 168. Up 9 or so since. I found it interesting that it is not counter to techs, but rises with them and against them, too. An interesting blend of tech and defense, but it has done better than LMT (Lockheed Martin) and Northrup, but then again, they are not profitable. I hope to see contracts with EXTR to add ethernet speed. LMT did so recently, since the average file size on their networks for real time interactive simulations is over 500 Gigabytes. EXTR is the best, IMO, to provide intelligent priority switching for these growing networks. Thoughts, anyone? Mino |
