Don't have anything to add that I haven't already said: in terms of treasuries, Fannie is doing the exact opposite of what you believe. There is no way for me to demonstrate this to you short of giving you the number of someone on Fannie's trading desk, so the best I can do is point out that in your scenario, the market would have to freeze up on a regular basis because everybody of size is trying to be on the same side of the same trade.

And that doesn't happen.

Differences are what make a market.
