I agree with what you're saying about Gemstar except for the labels you use. Ever since Gemstar announced its decision to acquire TV Guide I've been completely stymied about what its fair value is. There are SO many variables in all the assumptions about the revenue streams, especially the ad revenue and eventually the t-commerce revenue, that I don't have a clue. I think anyone who does have a lot of confidence in their assumptions is smoking something that probably isn't conducive to maintaining a clear mind.
