Population Growth + Productivity Growth = GDP Growth.
My point was that the growth in economic consumption of each human might be estimated not just by income, but also by body mass.
Obese people use more health care, more food, more mattresses, more gasoline, more sewer, produce more garbage, wear out furniture faster, use more medications, use more ambulatory services, scooters, hospital equipment, flooring, air conditioning, toilet paper, clothing, cleaning products, mirrors to find their junk, etc. |
