I placed a sell-limit order at 54 1/4 on a stock last night that had closed at 53 7/8. The stock opened today at 54 5/8 and subsequently went up. My broker executed the order at 54 1/4.

How is it possible that my sell order was executed below the open price? Would someone please help. Should I change brokers? Thanks

Brian
