Considering the state of SyQuest's bottom line, I don't think they could afford to sell disks at cost just to get to Iomega. But it's irrelevant, because SyQuest most likely won't be going on any shopping trips for companies to buy anytime soon. They have to get themselves out of hock first.

I know that sounds harsh. I do want to say that, unlike many others on the Iomega thread, I don't think SyQuest's products are junk. And I give the current management a lot of credit for keeping things going as long as they have. They might be able to turn things around if they can buy enough time. After all, removable storage is a rapidly growing market.
