Judy/Rocky-- I tried to muddle my way through the NAIC worksheets. They are complex. It seems that about the time I finished one those buggers, the quarter would end and new data was released. Sisyphus had it easy in comparison. But... I really like the NAIC's software for managing a portfolio. Worth the price of independant membership just to buy their software. I'm sure you'll find quality stocks to invest in. The strategy you're adopting sounds very akin to my approach (with my daughter), so of course I think its a great concept. The best single suggestion I can offer is spread the entry out a little bit. We never really know if the big ugly market starts on Monday. By buying some now, and some more in a month, etc, one can avoid the worste case scenario. Regards, TBG Paul
