"Czarist Russia did the same thing with their rail guage with disastorous results" It's not just Czarist Russia, it's the same story for rail all over the world. And look at where rail is now as the dominant form of land transport. IMO, this story will repeat itself in Telecommunications. Question is, who does one bet one: LU or CSCO? Any opinions?
