Today is options expiration day, so we'll see increased volatility in the market's action. On top of this, Brazil's currency fell below its trading band and futures plummeted to -10. As I write this, there is a report on CNBC that Brazil may let its currency trade freely, which I don't fully understand, but it's a good thing, according to the IMF.

If I had any holdings that had given me profits, and they were flat or still profitable at the open this morning, I'd be seriously considering selling that stock. This would lock in your profit and remove your money from the table on this volatile day. You can always buy the stock back later, perhaps on a lower cost basis.
As my mentor tells me: Take the easy money!
