People in the top 10% of reported AGI with capital and or skill sets that are in high demand did very well through the years 2000 - 2010. They earned an increasing share of the the nation's income while the bottom 50% shrunk.

For many at the bottom end if we kick out all the illegal aliens maybe wages will improve.

Otherwise either one learns how to work with industrial communications and or learn other more technical skills or ones wages go down. The days of high wages working on a factory floor are limited.
