We may need democracy in pieces because the triangle is just not ready. But according to Taheri and others, Shiites and Kurds are. We may have to move ahead with self determination for two regions allied together with a promise to include the triangle when ready. We may need a DeGaulle for the triangle and a federation with the other two regions until a stable federal, somewhat democratic state can emerge. Mike
