Stewart, You make a good point but what good is cheap equity when any purchase you make is outrageously priced? As an example, AFCI... Fiber Optics is the technology "du jor" right now and CIEN is one of the pure plays. CIEN and their underwriters have done a masterful job of promoting their stock price and company, and why shouldn't they? Incidently, as another astoninishing parallel between this company and the last "technology of the month" company, Pairgain Technologies. PAIR parlayed their cheap equity to gain diversification into ASDL technology. To say the street wasn't impressed would be an understatement... good luck jim
