Lenovo Thinkpads are truly the offspring of the IBM Thinkpads. Lenovo 3000 are Chinese clones. I think our wholesaler is carrying the Lenovos. We don't buy laptops from them so I haven't tried one and when a customer wants one we send them to Dell so we don't have to be involved. I just use my netbook anymore; my laptop stays at home. I think Asus has gotten ahead of the curve in this area but I don't know if they'll hang on. I wouldn't be without mine anymore. Mostly, I just use Remote Desktop and Firefox on a laptop anyway, so it is perfect for me.
