The Right Stuff.
Yesterday, I sold a Newton 2000 package to Thomas K. Wolfe ("Bonfires of the Vanities", etc.) to give to his high school senior daughter.
The more I described it "166 mhz, runs on AA batteries, 1.25 lbs., transparent OS, multi-platform capable, lightning fast handwriting recognition, edit a 50 page paper with a stylus, surf the web, clip it onto your belt, etc.", the more excited he got.
"I had no idea the technology had gotten this far" he said.
And this is from the author of "The Right Stuff".
I have a feeling he'll be back for more.
