I wonder if Linux will really hurt Microsoft. Probably people will buy both?

I think NT is really the competition for Linux, not Win98. And soon enough there will be 2000. NT is the "stable" Windows OS.

I'm not worryin' about it too much 'cause I don't own the stock.

There's also some VMRL stuff that lets you install an operating system within another operating system. Don't know much about it -- saw it on ars. Probably takes a lot of resources. Sounds pretty cool though. Might get a little confusing. Amazing how computers can keep everything sorted out. Well, most of the time...
