hello all - in a way, MSFT's threat must be taken into considerations. That said, it seems that RAPT has been living in this shadow ever since MSFT tried to confuse people with the catapult offering can do the chore of the firewall.

The question is really how RAPT is gonna to learn from NETM's and FTPS's mistakes (or even NSCP's) While CTXS's fate is still debatable, it has survived a MSFT frontal attack. So, MSFT invasion is not a necessarily a sure thing. Ultimately, I agree with some defenders of RAPT that firewall and tcp/ip are not comparable. A lousy tcp/ip may cause traffic jam, but a firewall failure means a lot of things. Just because the trojan horse is a freebie doesn't mean it is good for Troy <G>
