Charlie's looking good......he's not so much a pup any more. Only ~10 months old. I can walk him two miles on busy suburban streets, off lead, with 99% certainty he won't go in the street. When I get to 100% and can just walk him without even thinking about him at all... knowing he is watching me, it will really be a pleasure. The best thing in life are almost free. One time my family had a sheep dog. I guess they are supposed to be smart dogs but not this one. One day I was walking him with a leash and he saw a cat. Lost my grip on the leash and he chased the cat into a busy street. The cat was heading towards a large storm sewer when he jumped aside and missed it. Not the sheepdog.......too late he dug his paws in trying to stop......to no avail. Slid right into the sewer head first. I had to have two adults help me get him out.
