Java is the future no matter how much Microsoft tries to kill it.

I want to see the picture of TODD NIELSEN and CORNELIA WILLIS (she looks like the witch from 10,000 dalmations but without the charm) of Microsoft convince Java developers how much they support Java when they pose for pictures in Business Week in front of big X's over the Java Logo - of course that was before the DOJ brought on the heat and Microsoft's overexuberance of bringing down great American companies with their monopolisitic practices may be a little more subdued.

As far as Microsoft moving overseas - i think the oppty of getting decaf double lattes in Bangladesh is a tad less than in Seattle. Of course the air filters over their mouths would reduce the double talk coming out of Microsoft so there would be some benefit.
